  1. What is your diagnosis by morphology?

    A: Colon adenocarcinoma

    B: High grade serous carcinoma

    C: Sertoli-Leydig tumor

    D: IMT

Answer

The correct answer is B. This is a case of high grade serous carcinoma. The low power architecture favors a tumor invades from outside of the colonic tract and the slit like pattern with round oval cells are not commonly seen in colon adenocarcinoma.
